I have been practicing yoga and meditation for 8 years. After experiencing a devastating loss in 2012, I’ve come on the most incredible journey of healing and self-discovery…none of which would have been possible without my yoga and meditation practices. In 2018 I trained through the British School of Meditation to become a qualified meditation teacher and I am now also a qualified yoga teacher. Yoga, meditation and pranayama (breathwork) work so beautifully together and allow us to bring ourselves into balance mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

 Yoga is a wonderful physical practice which helps build strength, stamina and flexibility in the body, it also massages and detoxes our internal organs, it helps to boost our immune system and even balance our hormones, but I believe the key to getting the most from our yoga journey is to really cultivate a mind-body awareness. When we tune into this connection, that’s when we start to feel the transformation…physically, mentally and emotionally. 

 Through my yoga and meditation sessions, we will be directing our life force energy (prana or qi) up though the body, and work to balance our energy centres (‘the chakras’) as these are the key to our health and wellbeing. When energy is flowing freely through the body and out into our energy field, we are in alignment with everything and life feels balanced.
